Welcome to the 6th Grade Music Class page!

We play Guitars in the Fall Semester. You can hear us jamming out to the sounds of The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and many more. We learn chords and note melodies.  

In the Spring you will find us singing and performing as well as learning about the history of Music throughout the ages. 

 

Music History

You will find us investigating the various composers from the Medieval, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Impressionistic eras. The following chart offers a view of some of the biggest composers that we will be looking at. Form Compositions

RONDO form in all it's glory! Students created original compositions using Soundtrap. The songs are in an extended Rondo form. The have created ABACADA songs, focusing on style, transition, timbre, beat, and originality. Check out some of their work!
